Toyota Classics 2011: Northeast German Philharmonic Orchestra

Did you know the annual Toyota Classics Musical started as early as 1990. This year marks the 17th time NBT is organizing the event. It is also my first time attending this wonderful night of music. Knowing the fact that all proceeds from the event are donated to Charitable causes makes it even better!

To be honest, I really do not know what to expect out of this event… as I am not the biggest of fans with classical music. This year Toyota Classics 2011 blends tradition with contemporary, meeting East and West and surprisingly works very well… with me anyway. I later found out why… because Piano Soloist Composer/Arranger of the evening is none other than Pamela Nicholson. Who exactly is Pamela N anyway? She is the mother of fame superstar violinist Vanessa-Mae! Surprised? I was, when I found out!
