Food101 : Love affair with Bali

Am I getting super aggressive with this blogging thing? I hope not… because it’s the 3rd straight day I am writing a post… well, it’s a sunday, a wet sunday I might add… kinda stuck at home with nothing better to do… and with a hungry stomach, what’s better than a post on food, right!?

Random post… just thought even today’s date is doing a little counting down on its own… 12.11.10… cant believe it’s almost mid of November and another month to go before we say hello to 2011… gotta say 2010 has been quite a productive year for me… managed to slot in a much needed get-away too… and of course to finally drink a good strong cuppa (GTL, yay!) from a certain green & black coffee chain! Yes, it’s expensive and the fact that you need to get out of Brunei to get one makes it even more expensive… well, what can you say, even the name says bucks!

KK Trip: Day One

To be able to go on a roadtrip is the best thing ever. I get some much needed break and relaxation. The chance to see new things and be able to do some shooting tickle my fancy too! I haven’t been shooting anything worthy to post in a lil’ while now, so this trip has provided me with lots, so much so that I’ve decided to split it into two post rather than jamming everything into one.

Ferries that take you over the border. Queuing can be stressful!

One of the many custom/immigration stop-over to get your passport stamp (this one is super slow, waited for over 30mins) it’s not like there were a lot of people, the lady was busy chit-chatting! Lots of pissed off people I tell you, haha… Our quick stop-over for food and washroom break, where else but Kolonel-Famous-Chix..

Stayed at the Courtyard Hotel 1 Borneo. A 3-star hotel that doesn’t impress nor disappoint (maybe a little)

Breakfast was my only real complain. This is actually day 2, well, day 1 is the same minus the karipok, red beans & sausages! Sigh!
